It’s a Tuesday when I met this decent man in the west
with a broken heart but still not lost so I did what I can best.
We shared many thoughts and drinks that night to find the problems core
and than life made friends out of two men who haven’t met before.
When you suffer from work overload lean back and twiddle thumbs
Sometimes life is showing open roads, sometimes humps, bumps and lumps.
And this decent man there in the west helped me to find myself.
Every day's a brand new place, a brand new chance a brand new self.

When I watched up to the sky Big Dipper pointed to the north
and I decided to go on my way this way, not back and forth.
Find new friends and places here and there and a different point of view.
Thanks to the decent man in the west I knew exactly what to do.

So I went up to the north and started working for a man.
He only wanted to be rich on the expenses of his men.
But money ain’t a vision or the purpose of your life
said the decent man in the west and so I waved this jerk goodbye.
The one eyed man is emperor for the blind who can't see shit.
And the drunken mind speaks sober heart so you know when’s time to quit.
Words of wisdom may be common phrases in a night with beer and booze.
but sometimes it just takes balls and a good friend to tell the truth.
